About us

Neurodivergent people are using AI in ways most therapists haven't caught up to.
ChatGPT and Claude work as executive function scaffolding. As social rehearsal partners. As 2am regulation tools. As sensory-safe spaces to think out loud. They don't get tired. They don't get bored. They don't read your stim as a symptom.

A lot of us are using these tools every day.
Some of us are also in therapy. A lot of us aren't.
Either way: is it working? Is it safe? And what's the actual difference between this and mental health care?

The Neurodivergent AI Lab is a quarterly conversation for people who are living that question. It's facilitated by a therapist who is also trying to figure this out (because the honest answer is that nobody has it yet) and who is building AI-assisted mental health tools for neurodivergent folks — and wants your take on what gets built.

We talk about what AI actually does for ND lives: what helps, what gets dangerous. We share the embarrassing prompts. We ask the questions most mental health professionals are still too nervous to ask out loud.

If you've used AI to get through something — a sensory crash, an executive freeze, a 3am spiral, an email you couldn't compose without help — you belong here.

Queer-affirming. Therapist-facilitated, but not therapy.
