Capitaine Thomas Sankara - Movie Night - June 27th, 7pm (Online Event)

Join us for movie night! We'll be watching the film Capitaine Thomas Sankara: "A portrait comprised of material from the archives of Thomas Sankara, president of Burkina Faso from 1983 until his assassination in 1987. Through his desire to liberate his country and transform his fellow citizens' way of thinking by questioning the world order and challenging the authority of those with power at that time, he made a mark on both African and world history."

We'll be watching the movie together at the same time while messaging in a text chat, then we'll hop on a call afterwards to talk about it. Note that you'll have to access the movie/find a way to watch it yourself. We look forward to talking with everyone :)
