Hiking - Wildwood, Chestnut, Nature Trail Loop

Join us for a refreshing and scenic hike through Forest Park, one of Portland's most beautiful and expansive green spaces. This hike is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the lush, shaded trails of this urban forest. We'll be hiking approximately 3.1 miles on the Wildwood, Chestnut and Nature Loop.
Hike Details:

• Date & Time: Sunday, August 18 at 11:00 am
• Meeting Point: Firelane 1 / Forest Lane Trailhead
• Distance: 3.1 miles loop
• Trail: Wildwood Trail to Chestnut Trail to Nature Trail Loop
• Difficulty: Moderate - suitable for hikers with some experience and a good fitness level. The trail includes 551 ft of elevation gain and uneven terrain.

What to Bring:

• Sturdy hiking shoes or boots
• Plenty of water (at least 2 liters)
• Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
• Dog(s) if you'd like!
• A positive attitude and a sense of adventure!

Additional Information:

• This is a shaded trail, perfect for staying cool on a warm day.
• Please arrive on time so we can start the hike promptly.
• There is some parking on the side of the street
