What we’re about
Hi , and welcome.
I am Kristina .. I am a neurodivergent woman and also a christian. I live in Australia. I have created this group because I hope to connect with other women who also have a christian faith and are neurodivergent. I am a work in progress , don't have it all together , and am sure there are others like me out there :-)
If you relate to this , and if you might be interested in meeting with similar others , in a gentle , relaxed , non-judgemental space , with authenticity and room for curiosity, where we discuss different topics and share life experiences , you are welcome to join any time.
This group is about providing a space for reflection and conversation for women on unique issues and aspects of being neurodivergent and also being a believer in and follower of Christ.
I desire and hope for this space to be for those who would like to have connection with similar others , particularly those who , like me, are late-diagnosed and high-masking autistic and or ADHD ( I personally happen to be both) , and may not find it easy to discover others like yourself. This group is open to anyone who resonates with what I have shared here and feels this might be a helpful space for you to consider and explore.
I intend to initially offer a season of fortnightly meetings of 60-90 minutes over zoom; each meeting's topic will be based around a specific podcast episode of 'Neurodivergent Faith' by Josh Davis , a christian pastor and fellow neurodivergent. This podcast can be found on podcast sites and also on his youtube channel 'Just Josh Davis'. He has 13 episodes in his first season , so all being well , God willing , we will use his beautiful material as a starting point for discussion and connection. Come to one meeting or come to all.
The meetings are completely free to attend with no strings or expectations attached.
This group is not affiliated with any specific business or organisation , it is a grass roots endeavour , a curious experiment , a step of faith , casting my bread upon the waters, in the brave hope that some good may come of it.
God Bless you
