What we’re about

Welcome to Neurospicy SA: Guardian Socials! We are a group of adult parents, guardians, relatives, and caretakers of neurodivergent (neurospicy) kids and adults (what we call Neurospicers). Our members' focus is on seeking information, resources, and insight for various struggles of parenting neurospicy people. We operate like a support group.

For example, a mom wants to know a dentist in the area who knows how to treat kids with autism. Or, a couple who just adopted an 8-year-old boy with bipolar disorder, and they're trying to give him the best home that they can, while struggling to figure out the best medications. Maybe a single father struggling to communicate with and understand his 16-year-old daughter with OCD, who is sacrificing sleep to work on her passion: writing a book.

Scenarios like these are likely to elicit some answers and advice from other parents, guardians, relatives, or caretakers who have struggled with the same or similar issues while parenting.

In addition to gathering good advice, we also play board/card games, do other activities, socialize, and connect with the other members.

Whether you're a new mother to a neurospicy young child or you're the caretaker of a neurospicy adult, you are welcome to join this group.

We really hope family members and caretakers of neurospicy people will join us for great times, to find answers, and make connections! Once again, welcome to Neurospicy SA: Guardian Socials!
