Topic Of Discussion:
Communication Brain-Computer Interfaces have traditionally been either expensive, requiring research-grade amplifiers with 10x of electrodes, or low-performance giving a choice of either a few outputs (<4) or slow selections (>10s / choice). Mindaffect has released as open-source a communication BCI which is both low-cost (works with commercial hardware with 4-8 electrodes) and high-performance with the ability to choose from 30+ options in a few seconds. In this discussion, we will give a live demonstration of our BCI in operation, and briefly talk through how you can try it for yourself, or get involved in taking this project further.
