The FAMOUS Wed Night Card Club!!!!!

Calling all card players and fun lovers ... time for some good times with good friends!!!! For any newbies out there who would be interested in joining us, we play Hearts, Spades, Euchre, Pinochle, Oh Hell ... whatever strikes our fancy that night. We'd love to meet you! Bring something to drink and a snack to share.

Recapping our last event, WE WERE HONORED TO HAVE 4 NEWBIES IN ATTENDANCE.

James got the award for the longest drive by coming in from the booming metropolis of Dobbins ... though it sounds like he spends more time avoiding Dobbins than exploring it. :)

Janet, an ex-teacher from Garden Valley (which booms only slightly louder than Dobbins) joined us, as did Carole, a retired social worker from Down The Hill, and Katie. The latter human should come in handy if you ever find yourself on the wrong side of the law.

Of course, there were some winners and losers. I know Katie won a couple games, which violates all known Newbie Rules. I also know I won all my games, which surprised no one because I was keeping score.

Oh, and Stefano whined like a stuck pig cuz we wouldn't agree to prohibit playing trump on the first Oh Hell hand. At this point, I don't think we'll ever change the rule because it's too much fun hearing him complain about the incredible inequity of the rule.

PS to James, if you wish, you get a hall pass on all snack deliveries. There's always enough for each of us to gain a pound or two.
