Sketching at The Grass Valley Museum and Cultural Center

We will be sketching at The Grass Valley Museum and Culrural Center. It's located in an old convent built in 1865. It has beeen renovated and now has the museum on the second floor and the third floor is used for artist studios in the rooms that the nuns once slept in.
It's a very unique property with lots to sketch both inside and out.
There is also an old church right next to the convent.
The museum covers the Gold Rush era in Grass Valley through 1930.
In the spring time there is a rose garden in front of the convent and church that is tended to by a host of volunteers.
The church now has community get togethers and live music events.

While this is a free event the museum does accept donations. You ARE NOT required to donate.
Meetup says there is a 10 person limit...that is the limit to reply to...but any number are free to join in the event...
Come on out and bring a friend or 2.
