About us
The Nevada Yacht Club (NYC) was formed in 1963 with its foremost purpose being the encouragement of sailing as a sport and recreational activity on Lake Mead. The NYC promotes sailing, boating and seamanship through semi-annual sail training (for beginners to advanced), an active racing schedule, lots of cruising events, women in sailing activities and lots of other sailing community fun.
