Weather permitting, this walk takes place on the first Sunday of every month all year long. It is far and away our most popular event even though we walk it once a month.

The entire path is paved and is only open to walkers, joggers, bikes and other non motorized vehicles. There are a few instances where the path does cross over roads but those crossings are clearly labeled for us and for the cars.

The entire path is 3.5 miles in one direction. Once we get to the end we turn around for another 3.5 miles for a grand total of 7 miles. The usual pace is that we finish the entire 7 miles in just under 2 hours. There are some hilly sections so please view the following picture for additional information. The red line below is for the entire walk and if you notice the first half of the red line and the second half are the same, only reversed.

There is a large parking lot next to 7/11 at the traffic light and the entrance to the trail is at the back end of the parking lot.

After the walk we usually replenish our burnt calories with some delicious pizza! We earned it!
