Visiting Governors Island

This is a free event and only heavy rain can stop us!

Dear verticals, it's time for us to visit another hidden gem of the Big apple - Governors Island.
We will reach it by ferry that starts from Governors Island Ferry Building.
We will see beautiful Spring scenery of Castle Williams, stroll through Georgian and Greek Revival houses at Nolan Park, wander through Fort Jay's moat, walk through the city field and town hall.
We will hike to Governor Island mountain to see the bay area and come back to the same ferry in 2 hours.
Please prepare snacks as there may be food shops here during the Spring season.
This is a loop walk!
