Watchung and South Mountain Reservation Hike

Only heavy rain can stop us!
Dear Neverwinters this will be a first hike of the year!
This time we will visit the Garden state to walk through beautiful Watchung and South Mountain reservations.
We will pass through lakes, rivers, creeks, stables and deserted village. We will have lunch by the mountain lake and end up in olds Hackensack clan's territory.
This is not a loop walk!

1st meeting point 07:30 AM in front of **Starbucks at Port Authority Bus Terminal on 1st floor (**625 8th Ave, New York)

7:30 AM - Meeting in front of Starbucks at Port Authority Bus Terminal (1st floor)
8:07 AM - Departure from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Mountain Ave at Scotland St
9:13 AM - Arriving at Mountain Ave at Scotland St (Scotch Plains)
09:20 AM - Meeting rest of the group in front of McDonald's (1967 US-22, Scotch Plains, NJ)
09:30 AM - Start hiking
12:10 PM - Lunch at lake Surprise
2:10 PM - Arriving to South Mountain Reservation
2:50 PM - Reaching Orange Reservoir
3:20 PM - Arriving Zoologico
4:05 PM - Taking bus from Northfield Ave at Zoo And Arena Loop
5:15 PM - Arriving to World Trade Center

Northfield Ave at Zoo And Arena Loop to World Trade Center via PATH (look for a bus No 73)

By car: ask a group if someone is driving and can give you a ride.

*** USEFUL INFO ***
About 13 miles hike (expect for full day).
Total elevation: 961ft (climbing might be needed).
Please don't come late as the bus will NOT wait for you.
Walkie-talkie: our frequency: 462.6125 or 462.6375 (Channel 3 and 4)
Please bring enough water and food for 6 hours.
We do NOT recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers.
