We are opening the FIRST EVER sauna and cold plunge club called COLDsweat!

We are hosting a Black tie (optional) Small Business Benefit on May 3rd from 7pm-11pm to celebrate it! Dress to impress! About the Business:
COLDsweat will be housed next door to Planet Fitness at 23 mile and Gratiot in the Gratiot Crossings plaza. The club will offer infrared lay down saunas and cold plunge services to start. Additionally we will have a smoothie and coffee bar, COLDshake, featuring 70 different shake ingredients including health boosters like whey, vegan protein, BCAA's, vitamin C and more. In a short time after opening our doors we will be working to transform our studio into a guided one on one stretch room, where a master stretch therapist will work individually with guests who wish to improve their flexibility and mobility. We also intend to partner with local wellness services to bring weekly/monthly popups like B12 shots and more. Our intention is COLDsweat will be a one-stop shop for anyone seeking MORE in their individual health and wellness.

One of our major problems with the business is educating the public on our services. Many don't realize these services exist or understand the true benefits. Some of the PROs that come with Cold Plunging for example are improved immunity, circulation, and sleep. Plunging also reduces inflammation for quicker post-workout recovery and burns fat at the same time. The shock of the cold also increases our levels of dopamine which enhances our mood, relieves depression, increases energy and boosts alertness. I won't ramble too much more if only to add, plunges also promote detoxification and better skin health! Talk about WIN-WIN-WIN!

Our lay-down infrared dome saunas are much different than your traditional cedar sauna. While you take a nap, catch up on some netflix, scroll your phone, listen to some jams, your body puts in a workout laying down and sweating at 194 degrees F. Your head is not exposed so the need to breathe will not compel you to shorten your planned sweat. When the session is completed after 30 minutes, guests leave feeling relaxed with a boosted mood. Internally, the body uses the session to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, relieve pain, fight cardiovascular disease and burn additional calories for the day from anywhere from 300-600 calories!

COLDshake will offer whole fruits and leafy greens, NOTHING FROZEN AND ABSOLUTELY NO SUGAR OR SYRUP ADDITIVES at a reasonable price. Currently working on our rewards programs to provide our Planet Fitness neighbors with discounted pricing. COLDshake will be convenient for our on-the-go health nuts who forgot a snack, need some protein or a smidge of caffeine to help through a workout.
