Welcome to New Beekeepers Building Hives and Community. This group is for anyone who is curious about keeping bees, whether you are just starting your research or you have already purchased your first package of bees and are feeling a bit overwhelmed. Beekeeping can be a solitary hobby, but we believe it is much more manageable and rewarding when you have people to ask questions and share experiences with as you navigate your first few seasons.
Our goal is to create a supportive, low-pressure space where we can learn the ropes together. We plan to meet regularly to discuss equipment, troubleshoot common challenges, and get hands-on experience building and maintaining hives. Whether you have questions about hive placement, managing swarms, or just want to meet other local folks interested in the craft, please join us. We look forward to growing our hives and our community with you.
