Hi Everyone!
This group is for those starting as new couples with BOTH members of the couple being over the age of 55.
It can be hard to have been in long-term marriages/relationships that end and then find yourself single over the age of 55. However, some of us have had to experience this and were fortunate enough to find another partner to share life with again.
As special as this is, it can also be hard to do. Many couples who we have been friends with from our old lives have not gone through divorce/separation/death and just don't know what it is like to start again. While we would never want to lose those friendships, it would be fantastic to add other couples in our age range who have had to go through this and understand the challenges associated with it: couples who have had to meet each other's kids, blend past and new friends, deal with old friends disapproving of their starting over after death, experience the difference between finding love over 55 vs finding it in our 20's, figure out living apart or together, getting married or not, how to travel together, etc., etc., etc.
So, if this has happened to you, and you would like to meet other couples who are navigating this path, this group might be one to check out.
