Non-Monogamy & Parenting Support Group

Details
***RSVPs on meetup do not reflect actual number of registrations/attendees. There are always at least 6 people registered. Register in form below in order to attend***
This peer support group provides space for non-monogamous people to talk about experiences and challenges related to non-monogamy and parenting. People practicing all forms of non-monogamy are encouraged to attend, whether you’re new to it or you’ve been practicing for many years.
Come and receive support, constructive feedback, understanding, and inspiration from other people who may be able to relate to what you’re going through and offer new insights. Receiving feedback is completely optional, as well as sharing at all. You are welcome to come just to listen and be among other non-monogamous people.
We’re capping the group attendance at 10, so that it is a small group and people have enough time to fully share and be heard.
YOU MUST REGISTER in order to come! Once you register and pay, you will automatically be on the attendance list, so don’t expect a confirmation email. Register here:[ https://forms.gle/YCuqHZh3RFt49nwK7](https://forms.gle/faJCXfKZwmo1S2HE9)
There is a sliding scale fee of $10-$40, which you can pay when you register. Please choose the rate that works best with your budget. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you cannot afford the lowest rate, just let us know in the registration form.
The group is co-facilitated by Christie Spudowski and Moss Herberholz:
- Christie Spudowski (she/her) is a therapist who has been working with parents for almost 10 years. She understands how messy, beautiful, and complicated relationships can be—especially while juggling parenting, partnerships, and personal wants & needs. Christie has personally been practicing non-monogamy since 2021 and is passionate about making these relationship structures more accessible. Outside of work, you can find Christie volunteering at Detroit Animal Care & Control or training for her next upcoming 5K.
- Moss Herberholz (he/they) is a therapist, flow artist, and dancer. His life's purpose is to bring more joy to the world, which he does in various ways including through is work as a therapist at the Radical Well-Being Center, in their play as a flow artist and a dancer, and through his unique fashion. Moss has been practicing polyamory in various forms since 2014, and specializes in supporting non-monogamous people in his therapy work.
