Play emotional intimacy-building games, eat yummy potluck food, music jam, cuddle (if you want to), and hangout in "New Culture" community. You'll have the chance to make meaningful new friendships, reconnect with existing friends, and just Be Yourself in a space that supports radical authenticity, compassion, consent/autonomy, unlearning hegemony, and high-level FUN!
Please bring a main dish for the potluck.
WHEN: Sunday, 4/16 from 11:30am-4:30pm (See schedule below) You're welcome to come for any part or all of it-- either solo or with partner(s)! We do ask that first time attendees of our events be present for the 12:00pm workshop, please contact Indigo if you can't make that work.

2-4pm Music jams, cuddles-if-you-wannem, & chill hangout time
4pm Clean up begins
INVESTMENT: *$5-25 suggested donation for the entire event. *Everyone is welcome at this event regardless of their ability to pay
WHAT TO BRING:
- Musical Instruments: Bring your favorites! The more the merrier!
- Potluck Items: Bring a vegetarian dish to share; if you have other dietary restrictions, please post them in the event comments! We have a microwave, oven, and stovetops for heating stuff.
- No alcohol or non-prescription drugs
TRANSPORTATION:
- Cars: Street parking is free and plentiful
- Bus & metro: There is a nearby bus stop that connects to the metro. The nearest metro station is College Park-UMD.
ALLERGENS: Some people in our community are sensitive to fragrances, so please don't wear perfume, cologne, or other scented products, including essential oils or “natural” scents. If you are a smoker, please smoke far away from the house, and don't wear anything indoors that smells of smoke. There are no pets in the house, so people with allergies don't need to worry!
ACCESSIBILITY:
The entrance of the house is located up a set of 3 concrete steps with a small landing in front of the door. If you use a mobility device or have other accessibility needs and would like to attend, we're interested in discussing how to make that possible; please contact Dawson at dawson@cfnc.us.
