Open Hearth Cooking Demo and House Tour

Please join us for Derby Historical Society’s Open Hearth Cooking Demonstration on November 17th from 1 pm to 4 pm at the David Humphreys House. Our talented Docents will be cooking 18th Century seasonal favorites over the Open Hearth. Enjoy a small sample of these delicious items, along with some modern day tastings, and a cup of mulled cider. While visiting, please stay for a tour of our Historic House. Our Gift Shop will also be open during this event.
Parking is available in our lot or on nearby Thomas Street.

I will be at this event as a volunteer with a Colonial dish prepared for all to enjoy. I do hope many of you can attend. The open fire hearth is so cozy this time of year.
