What we’re about
A group for locals and newbies and not-so-newbies - anyone who is keen to expand their social circle and meet new people... even if it means going outside your comfort zone.
As the saying goes ‘some people are in your life for a reason, some for a season, some for a lifetime’ - let’s see who you can meet here.
Things to keep in mind:
1. Please help with the organisation of each event and update your attendance to a meetup - if you are no longer able to come, that’s fine but please change the RSVP option so anyone on a waitlist can join and the organiser has a better view on how many places to book, etc.
2. If you'd like to leave your 'footprint of kindness' following the event - it may be in a form of writing a review of the venue (e.g. Google), sharing the photos (so others know what to expect), liking the venue page, paying a compliment to the staff, etc. - your feedback matters when it can help others. We would love to help support local businesses as much as possible.
3. Respect and Kindness: Don’t be a dickhead. If someone is being a creep/dickhead, tell them that what they are saying/doing isn't appreciated. If someone tells you that you are being a creep/dickhead, stop and think about your behaviour and attitude. Be considerate.
Photos taken at the events may be shared on Meetup and other social media platforms. The organizer of this group cannot accept any liability for any loss, damage, injury or accidents to participants or their property on this event.
