Volunteering Fun! Milwaukee River Clean Up

Note: I can only guarantee you a free t-shirt if you register yourself for the event on the Milwaukee River Keeper website before April 15th. If you register after or just show up to the event, you may or may not get a free t-shirt so register even if you are not sure if you are coming or not! If you decide not to come, someone else can get your shirt.

This will be our 7th year doing the Milwaukee Riverkeeper Spring Cleanup and it’s always been a blast!

The April 25th cleanup takes place at 100 or so different sites along the Milwaukee River. Our site is Gordon park. We will meet there and I will provide you with garbage bags and gloves and we just cleanup.

One cool thing is that the organizers of this event as planning on trying to set the world record for largest river cleanup.

I will provide more information as the event approaches and you can ask any questions you have below but as mentioned above, register ASAP so we get all the t-shirts we can.

Our site is Gordon Park Pavilion (1321 E Locust St, Milwaukee)

There’s a parking lot right next to the pavilion, and I’ll have signs up to show exactly where to meet. So no parking stress, and the group will be easy to find.
