Friday Evening Beer Garden and McKinley Pier Walk

I have taken a couple jogs out on this Lake Michigan pier and it was just an amazing experience. It goes out into Lake Michigan about a half mile and is a really cool site. I look forward to walking it with the group.

Join us Friday, July 31, for a summer evening at the Roundhouse Beer Garden at McKinley Marina, followed by a walk out onto McKinley Pier!

We will meet at the Roundhouse Beer Garden at 6:30 p.m. Everyone will have time to grab food or a drink, socialize, and meet other members of the group.

There is a public parking lot onsite.

At 7:30 p.m., we will leave the beer garden and begin our walk out onto the long pier extending into Lake Michigan. The walk to the end of the pier and back is approximately one mile and offers great views of the lake and Milwaukee skyline.

Whether you are brand new to New Friends MKE or have attended several events before, this will be a relaxed and easy way to meet new people. We get people of all ages, and newcomers are always welcome!

Pier walk begins: 7:30 p.m.

Please arrive before 7:30 p.m. if you plan to join the pier walk. Look for the New Friends MKE group near the beer garden.

The beer garden closes at 8:30 so people can stick around for a bit after the hike as well.
