Hello everyone!

Our summer hikes have been going great! More than 50 people have attended some of our recent hikes, and about one-third of them were coming to their very first NewFriendsMKE event.

Most people come alone, but they leave having met plenty of new people!

On Saturday, August 8, at 1:00 PM, we’ll meet at Gordon Park for an approximately two-mile hike along the Milwaukee River.

The Traveling Beer Garden will also be at Gordon Park that weekend. After the hike, anyone interested is welcome to stay and join us for food and drinks. I’ll also bring some board and card games to help break the ice and make meeting new people a little easier.

I’ll update the event with additional meeting instructions so everyone knows exactly where to find us.

Come alone, bring a friend, or bring your dog! It should be a great afternoon, and I hope to see you there.

A note about ages: Our hikes regularly attract people ranging from their early 20s through their 60s. The group is welcoming, and people of all ages are encouraged to attend.
