Let's have a friendly get together and act bougie while eating crumpets.
This place is incredible and the owners are a super nice couple.
They throw together homemade jams (think quince and less common things), creams, and do everything themselves. The place is pretty tiny so I'll limit this. If the tables are filled up, we can pack up and head to Jine's or the Frog Pond on Park Ave (unless people have other suggestions).
This place reminds me of my time overseas and my addiction to clotted cream so , act posh, grab a nice cuppa, and let's mingle.

What exactly is a crumpet? Per their site:
A crumpet is a yeasted griddle cake. The batter, consisting of flour, water, active dry yeast, sugar, salt, and baking powder, is cooked on a flat top in ring molds then cooled on wire racks. Once cooled, crumpets are then toasted, buttered, and topped with sweet or savory spreads. You do not slice crumpets in half. All of our crumpets are served open-faced style with the toppings piled on.

Pro tip: You might need to park around the corner across from 7/11. There are only like 3 spots on Monroe in front of the café.
