Okay, it isn't Irish but at least it's authentic ...... except for the tacos. Ignore the tacos. I historically get there early and grab food before I get curb stomped by the regulars who can tell you who won the FA Cup in 1973 (It was Sunderland). But, grab some bangers and mash, and a pint if you're so inclined and let's see how we do.

Since its establishment in 1990, The Old Toad has built a reputation for providing friendly, excellent service. We offer a wide range of beer - from real ales, imports, and local favourites, to our very own custom brews. We serve traditional British meals, as well as contemporary pub grub (including vegetarian and vegan meals). In addition, we have British students come over from England and work on a year long internship to gain experience as to how a small business is run by working all aspects including serving, bartending and working in the kitchen.
