Introduction to OpenStreetMap at Port City Makerspace

You may note that we did an identical event in July. That one was on more short notice, which didn't give Port City enough time to promote it. I was encouraged to plan for another event in September. This time Port City should pull in more people, which probably won't be counted here on Meetup.

⚙️ Come to Port City Makerspace in Portsmouth NH to learn about OpenStreetMap and get hands-on with map editing. If you're an OSM expert and would like to come and help with Q/A it would be great too! Suggested donation to Port City for events is $10, but any amount is okay and welcome. ☀️ If the forecast is good: After the presentation we'll walk around the West End of Portsmouth to add some businesses, home addresses, bike parking, etc from our phones.

🌧️ If the forecast is not so good: Plan to bring a laptop (and I'd recommend an external mouse)! We can add some buildings and roads using the web based editor.

🕛 Plan to spend two or three hours, between presentation, setup, and editing.
