π΄ββοΈ We Are Cycling to El Prat Because Apparently We Like Fresh Air
Details
THIS SATURDAY: BARCELONA β EL PRAT BY BICYCLE π΄ββοΈπ
Quick reminder that this Saturday we're voluntarily getting on bicycles and riding all the way to El Prat.
Yes.
On purpose.
Nobody lost a bet.
Meanwhile, millions of people will spend their Saturday changing position from the sofa to the bed and calling it a productive day.
Our plan is slightly different.
βοΈ Fresh air.
π Beautiful views.
π Lots of laughs.
π¦ A nice stop in El Prat to eat, drink, relax, and pretend we've just completed the Tour de France.
Spoiler:
We haven't.
This is not a race.
Nobody gets a trophy.
The only prize is having an awesome day and returning home with stories that don't start with:
"I watched three seasons of a series."
The best part?
Once we reach El Prat, you have options.
ποΈ Want to chill on the beach? Perfect.
π Feel like jumping into the sea? Bring your swimsuit and towelβthere will be time for a swim.
π» Prefer staying dry with a cold drink or an ice cream while watching everyone else question their life choices in the water? That's also a solid strategy.
It's your Saturday. You choose your adventure.
Someone always says:
"I haven't been on a bike in ages."
Three hours later:
"This is amazing! When's the next one?"
Someone else always says:
"I don't think I can do it."
Then somehow they're overtaking everyone on the flat sections.
Science still can't explain it.
And there is always one person checking Google Maps every ten minutes.
Relax.
El Prat has not moved.
It's still next to the sea.
Bring:
*Water (Or something to drink)
- A bicycle (Highly recommended)
*Helmet (Your brain has survived every bad decision you've ever made. Let's keep it that way.) - Sun lotion (So you don't spend Sunday looking like an angry lobster.)
*Swimsuit and towel (If you're joining the sea instead of just admiring it.)
π Meeting Point: Outside Girona Metro Station (L4)
π§ Time: Saturday β 12:45 PM
π΄ Please make sure your bike is in good condition and bring water, sunscreen, comfortable clothes... and your swimsuit if you fancy a dip in the Mediterranean.
β οΈ Insurance Notice: This is an informal social activity. Each participant is responsible for their own safety and personal insurance. By joining, you participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for yourself and your bicycle. Please respect traffic rules and cycle responsibly.
Come for the bike ride.
Stay for the laughs.
Maybe jump into the sea.
Go home tired, happy, slightly sun-kissed, and wondering why exercise with good company is actually fun.
Or stay on your sofa.
It has already prepared another thrilling Saturday of asking:
"Are you still watching?" ππ΄ββοΈπβοΈπ
