Carepackages for the homeless

What better way to send your Friday then to give care packages to the homeless? We will be split up into groups. Please wear good walking sneakers and have a Charlie card as some people will be going to various places. Please have your cellphone and a flashlight with you. Goal is to give the homeless. 4 people per group. I ask for everyone who is attending to create the following in each care package:

-Sandwich (any kind that you want to make just label it)
-hand sanitizer
-toothbrush
-toothpaste
-deodorant
-3 tampons (tampons can be used for many different things)
-piece of fruit (orange, apple, peach, banana, pear, strawberries will do)
-bag of chips or popcorn
-bottle of water
-granola bar
-hand warmers
-pair of socks
-handwritten note

Everything can fit in a quarter size ziplock bag. I ask for each person to bring 10 care packages. And you can wear a bag pack to fit them. Once you're done handing out your supply's, you're free to go. I do this often. It's extremely fun and very rewarding. You can ask your local stores to donate as well too.
