International Car Show / Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix

Details
Intro
Hey all! This is my first event! I was originally aiming for a nice coffee meetup followed by a historic tour of Pitt, but I just heard about the vintage race and could not pass it up! Please excuse the poor planning for this one. Here is what I know so far:
The DL
3,000 gorgeous cars will bespeckle the Schenley Park green for the weekend. There will be a car show of sorts, and I hear a vintage race will ensue. Saturday is the qualifying race, which determines the racers' positions come Sunday. As I understand it, tickets at the gates are $10 and earn a wristband granting entry. Parking passes may be purchased at the link below for $30, which grants two entry wrist bands (worth $20) for weekend access, and also provides access to a shuttle from the lot to the event. Parking opens at 8:00 am, and the event spans 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Proceeds are donated to Autism Pittsburgh and Merakey Allegheny Valley School.
I have been informed that street parking is an option, but may be sparse. Also, the event may be technically free, with $10 donations suggested to earn an access wristband.

Paraphrasing Reddit
This event is likely to feature classic vehicles which will never be seen anywhere else, it's definitely an event to make time for!
What to Bring
Bring water and sunscreen or suffer the wrath of ultraviolet irradiation as well as the event's exceptionally high prices for consumables.
How to Find Us/Me?
Look for an overly friendly, loudish, blond guy driving a red 2010 F150. I will be located at the event parking at Flagstaff Hill, across from Phipps Conservatory, around 9:30 am. From there, the shuttle(s) travel to the golf course and Schenley Oval Paddock. I'll do my best to update my location/meetup point and check for member messages.
My Goal for This Event
It may not be possible for all of us to meet up due to the expansive venue and unfamiliarity with the event. However, I hope my efforts nudge some of us New In Towners to do something new and possibly connect with others. This is always my goal! 😆
