What is the celebration about? Bitcoin Pizza Day is celebrated annually on May 22nd to commemorate the first real-world commercial transaction using Bitcoin on May 22, 2010. Programmer Laszlo Hanyecz bought two Papa John's pizzas for 10,000 BTC, which was worth about at the time. Today, this amount is worth hundreds of millions, often called the most expensive meal in history.

- The 87 bus stops outside the Academy Bus offices, which is a 3-minute walk from the property.
