As 2025 closes, a year that saw AI evolve from tool to cultural phenomenon—join us for an honest, thoughtful conversation about what it all means.

This was the year AI became part of everyday life. Millions of people now use it for work, creativity, and decisions. Some students use it to learn and other to fake their essays lol. Companies are reshaping how they operate. Governments are trying to figure out how to regulate it.
The change happened fast. Really fast.

Now, before we rush into 2026, let's pause. Let's think clearly about where we are and where we're going.

No hype. No doom. Just critical thinking.

Some of the questions will be exploring:

  1. What role will A.I. play in your life ? How is AI used in your daily life (work, study, etc.)?
  2. How do we define and measure AI "intelligence" versus human intelligence (which includes emotion, ethics, etc.)?
  3. How do we address and prevent inherent biases in AI models? How do you fact-check AI-generated information, and what strategies work best?
  4. If AI becomes the primary interface through which billions of people access information, make decisions, and understand reality, and that AI is controlled by 3-4 companies, have we essentially privatized human cognition itself? What are your thoughts, and what could be a better approach for the future?
  5. If language barriers disappear because AI can translate perfectly and instantly, how does that change human collaboration? What problems could we solve together?

Perfect for: Anyone who wants to think critically about AI before the year ends—no technical background needed, just genuine curiosity and willingness to engage.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a debate. This is a thoughtful discussion where we'll share personal insights, explore different perspectives, and challenge each other's assumptions respectfully.

Attendance Requirement: All attendees must purchase food or drinks from the cafe to support the local business hosting our event.

We'll also ask for a small $2 donation to help us cover the Meetup fees.

Come ready for great conversations, paradigm-shifting insights, and a welcoming community of curious and thoughtful individuals ready to examine the fundamental forces that drive human behavior.

Perfect for philosophers, psychology enthusiasts, anyone who love exploring the big questions that shape how we live.

If you are attending, please read the guidelines below to help keep this a welcoming space for all of us 😊. Thank you and I hope to have a deep discussion with you soon.
