Elect Your Favorite C++ Core Guideline!

Details
Elect your favorite C++ Core Guideline, as our group's favorite... on Election Day (United States)!
The C++ Core Guidelines are a set of best practice guidelines for C++. It's edited by the creator of C++, Bjarne Stroustrup, and the convener and chair of the C++ ISO Working Group, Herb Sutter. It's in my opinion, the best free go-to resource available online for guidance on the C++ programming language.
Each of these guidelines has a "rule reference number" - e.g. P.1 - and a description of the rule: "Express ideas directly in code".
This event will be an online meetup I'll host, whose purpose will be to learn about these guidelines and promote C++ best practices. The format will be as follows:
- We'll spend the first few minutes with greeting, introductions, and hellos.
- I'll end the intro and move onto basically summarizing the event.
- Then, everyone wanting to nominate a guideline, can take a turn: stating it by reference number and description, then representing why they like it and why to elect it.
- After all nominations have been made, we'll go around and everyone will just vote aloud which of these they want to elect for the year. You can even switch from the guideline you had represented to another if you changed your mind.
- We'll tally up these votes and I'll announce the winning guideline and first runner up!
Afterwards, we'll have open discussions about these guidelines or similar efforts.
Attendees wanting to prepare for the event can check out the C++ Core Guidelines ahead of time. Those wanting to nominate a guideline will need to pick a guideline they'll represent and put together an under five minute speech on why they like it and why to elect it as our favorite for the year.
