Help Restore the Native Plant Garden at the Petroglyph National Monument

Details
Join NMVFO as we restore the native plant garden and surrounding areas at the Information Center of the Petroglyph National Monument in western Albuquerque. We’ll be trimming and pruning native plants and removing invasive and dead plants including dead tumbleweeds that have piled up. The areas we’ll be working in are different from the areas we restored last year. All tools will be provided.
We suggest that you wear sturdy shoes or boots, long pants, long sleeves, work gloves, hat, and eye protection (sunglasses okay) while working. Please bring a lunch, snacks, sunblock, and rain gear (if rain is expected)
Please sign up on NMVFO's website at https://nmvfo.org/projects/petroglyph-national-monument-nps/ so we can contact you directly and you'll get credit for attending.
