What we’re about

NEW was started by two MSU Mankato grads. Both highly involved in groups, organizations, and business activities in college, we graduated and moved back to the Twin Cities to start working full time.

It didn’t take long to realize there was a major gap in genuine community for both of us – something so readily available at college, real fellowship proved incredibly difficult to find in this next stage of our lives.

There were many groups we visited in the Twin Cities, and most were just fine, but there was nothing that fit our life stage, age, budget, and desire to do more than network – we wanted to form genuine connections to support and serve each other through figuring out what it means to be a young professional in today’s world.

So we started NEW (Newly Entering the Workforce) with the hopes of creating the community we sought. We get together once a month for large events and several times monthly to hang out. Come to meet new people in a similar life stage, catch up with friends, and grow in multiple ways through short presentations.

If that sounds like you – a young professional desiring to make real connections, help others, and grow in one way or another (relationally, mentally, spiritually, etc) – NEW was made for you! We would love to meet you; feel free to fill our our Contact form with any questions.

Thanks for stopping by!
