What we’re about

The Moms Groups are facilitated weekly chats hosted in 32 locations a week since 2008 by Renee Sullivan, parent and lifestyle coach, or Julie, Jordana, Sarah, and Lauren - group facilitators and fellow moms.

Welcome! The Moms Groups are excited to be beginning our eleventh year this August and have connected 11,300 women in our groups since our launch in 2008 providing fun, resources and support from Pregnancy Groups to New Moms Groups to play groups, to moms night out - join us!

We host The Moms Groups in Union Square, Flatiron, UES , UWS , Murray Hill, Chelsea, Midtown, Kips Bay, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Cobble Hill, and Williamsburg.

We chat about all things baby and pregnancy, from finding a pediatrician, to finding a nanny in NYC, daycares, babysitters, part time nannies, to newborn sleep and schedules, to baby gear, returning to work, maternity leave, staying at home, music classes, yoga classes, and other fun things to do in NYC and everything in between!

Our Summer and Fall 2019 Calendar of Events may be found inside.

The Moms Groups is an engaging and lively community where women come together to support, learn, and socialize in a friendly and social baby friendly environment. We have grown to be the largest organization in the country connecting thousands of moms - one circle at a time - to meet up in the NYC mom community, and look forward to meeting you soon!

All are welcome - new moms, expectant moms, working moms toddler moms, single moms in the NYC area:

Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, Westchester, and Long Island.

    • Connect and meet other new and expectant moms, in person and by phone.

    • Be part of an intimate open community to be supported and to give support

    • Become part of an amazing, friendly, & supportive community

    • Make friendships that will last throughout motherhood

Each week we'll share videos, articles, and mom to mom resources and more!

What Our Moms Are Saying:

Hi Renee, It has been a great experience! - I've already recommended the group to a couple friends. See you in the new moms group - Beth

Hi Renee, Thanks again for Monday's session, wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it. I learned so much, and most of all, come out full of confidence on my ability to do this and be a mom. - Gaelle

Renee - Many thanks to you for organizing, hosting, and structuring. It's been great, relaxing, entertaining, fun, and insightful - Anneloes

Hi Renee - Wanted to thank you again for all the guidance, perspective and support. They have been a really powerful tool in managing the introduction to parenthood! I'd have a lot more stress, second guessing, and fewer smiles if I had not attended. Hope to see you soon! Thanks, Suzi

Becoming a new mom was the most exhilarating, exhausting, and intense journey I'd ever experienced. What I found I needed most was a sense of community, which is what this group offers. Meeting up, learning from, and laughing with others helps turn an uncertain and potentially scary time into a shared adventure. Renee makes everyone comfortable, and is a reassuring and knowledgeable guide for new moms! - Ellie, mom to Ben
