Viking Jul and Winter Solstice Celebration

Details
Velkommen! We are having a get together to celebrate Jul and the Winter Solstice (Dec. 21st). Jul is what Norwegians call Christmas. Jul has its origins in the Old Norse word jol. This word was used to describe the midwinter celebration and the winter solstice in Norse Culture.
You are welcome to wear Viking attire. I will have a display table with some items I use in Viking re-enactment as well as some weaponry. I will also bring some Scandinavian snacks. We will have some Norse music also.
The mead at Strad Meadery is really good. Please bring a snack to share if you are able.
We will have a fire pit outside and I will have some items you can use to assemble for an offering for Jul/Winter Solstice.
If we have time, we will do a Scandinavian craft.
Skal!!
