Welcome Memoirists! We're trying a new format in May, to focus our writing skills on the memoir genre.

  • "Memoir" refers to stories of true life, illustrating personal growth, gaining significant insights, and reflecting emotional truths from life experiences.

Several short-form memoirs (or chapters of longer works) will be distributed on the 16th, and then at our 5/21 meeting we'll critique and discuss. To allow for longer and more comprehensive discussions, we may split to breakout sessions, and then reconvene to talk over what we have learned as a group.

Everyone is welcome -- sign up to receive all the writing that we will talk about at the May meeting.

We meet monthly, and at regular meetings, NEW accepts any genre or style. Come to learn, meet fellow writers, and have fun.
