Space, the Final Frontier (wear a red shirt at your own risk!)

Details
IMPORTANT: We will meet at the Wagner Library Branch in Metairie at 6646 Riverside Dr. close to Power Blvd. this month.
Prepare to be amazed and entertained by black holes, the Big Bang, dark matter, dark energy, exploding stars, and planets being created and destroyed before your very eyes. You will come to understand why, in seven Jurassic movies, the engineers were never able to build strong enough containment walls! If it’s mayhem and destruction you want, you’ll see it here on a galactic scale!
**Doors open at 2:30pm for refreshments. Program begins at 3pm.**
Our speaker will be John Patrick Lestrade, Ph.D. He has spoken to NOSHA several times over the years and is a former board member. He is a professor emeritus in the department of Physics and Astronomy at Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi.
