A Public Observatory & Science Center for the New Orleans Metro Area

NASA Solar System Ambassador and long-time NOSHA member John Martinez has an unrelenting vision to build a public Observatory and Science Center in the New Orleans metro area.

The facility would promote STEM enrichment, expand community engagement, and promote public science literacy. John will present his detailed vision at the May 6th meeting of the Pontchartrain Astronomy Society.
