About us
Want to see what a New Orleans dance krewe is all about? Want to dance in Mardi Gras? Love to Disco? Come meet the New Orleans Disco Amigos at open disco rehearsals and disco themed events. We are an all inclusive dance and performance team, and we love to party it up. All skill levels welcome–we'll teach you the moves, just bring your dancin' shoes and a positive attitude.
We practice for the 2025-2026 year on Wednesdays, 7:000-9:00ish at the First Presbyterian Church at 5401 S. Claiborne Ave. You are welcome to show up at any given rehearsal and try us out, but message us first to make sure we are indeed meeting. We have about 90 members, so even if many people haven't signed up for an event on Meet-up, you won't be alone.

Want to experience Mardi Gras in a whole new way? The Disco Amigos’ Disco Train is your chance to join a high-energy, funky rolling disco party that brings the groove to Mardi Gras parades! Open to anyone 21 and over, this is your ticket to a truly unique and unforgettable Mardi Gras adventure!
What You Get with the Disco Train Experience:
✨ Ticket to dance in a Mardi Gras parade: Be right in the action on parade day.
🕺 Dance and entertain the crowd in true disco style!
🍹 Enjoy food and drinks before and during the parade.
🔮 Access to the exclusive Amigos restrooms – aka the Disco Ball!
🎭 Create unforgettable Mardi Gras memories with new friends and funky vibes.
The cost is 100.00 for each parade you register for. Signing up to reserve your spot ahead of time is necessary as we fill up quickly and do not register people on the day of the parade.
Transportation is not provided, however for a separate fee you can take the Boogie Bus to and from the parade. Exact start location (somewhere near 5600 Magazine Street) confirmed before parade start.
