In this month’s edition, we invite you to join us and our partners from ChickTech as we explore International Women’s Day 2022 theme #BreaktheBias. We’ll discuss the importance of solidarity to call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotyping. Plus, discuss what each of our panelists are doing to build inclusive workplaces, champion women in technology and innovate for women in leadership.

Panelists Bios:
Riya Shanmugam is Global Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels at New Relic. Riya joined New Relic from Adobe, where she was the Global Head of Cloud Adoption and Customer Success. Prior to Adobe, Shanmugam served as a customer engineering leader at Google Cloud where she was responsible for working with the platform's biggest customers, ensuring their success, and serving as a champion of their feedback internally to improve Google Cloud's capabilities and services. Before that, she held technical and strategic advisory roles for IBM, AMD, Infosys and several hyper-growth startups.
Riya earned an MBA from Texas State University and a bachelor's degree in information technology from the Amrita School of Engineering. She is a beneficiary of the Leadership Academy at Harvard Business School Executive Education and the Stanford Graduate School of Business for Executive Education.
Noelle Johnson (she/her)

Co-Founder & Learning Development Partner, Johnson Squared Consulting
Noelle Johnson is the Co-Founder. and Learning and Development Partner with Johnson Squared Consulting, an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility consulting group. She has over a decade of experience working in operations and transforming company culture to be more equitable and an overall happier and more inclusive work environment.
In addition to this role, Noelle is the CEO of My Interview Buddy, a career services company. In this position, she manages a team to help job seekers land their dream job and works with organizations on LinkedIn, recruiting efforts, and personal branding workshops for their staff.
Noelle has earned a positive reputation for her expertise and has been quoted in Forbes, Fast Company, Glassdoor, NPR, and more. She has also written for Medium, Cameron Diaz’s Your Body Book, and professional women’s websites like InHerSight and PowerToFly.
Noelle has given speeches and led workshops to small and large groups, in person and digitally on topics including but not limited to; microaggressions, establishing inclusion effort at work, self-advocacy at work, developing a diverse network, allyship, and addressing unconscious bias.
Katie SanFilippo (she/her)
Chief Executive Officer, ChickTech
Katie is focused on empowering girls and women in achieving their full potential and to have the confidence to make changes they wish to see in their lives. She has dedicated herself to building community through volunteerism in order to bring positive change locally and globally. Through her career in the nonprofit field, Katie has developed and supported community-based programs ranging from environmental conservation to youth and leadership development.
Through her work at ChickTech, Katie guides the strategic direction of the organization. She focuses on building and empowering an intergenerational community of volunteers, staff, and program participants while advancing corporate diversity and inclusion practices through collaborative partnership engagement.
