Tintern Woods (meet beside the abbey)

Join the New Ross Area Healthy Walkers for a leisurely walk around the picturesque Tintern Woods near Saltmills. We'll meet at 10.30am in the car park directly beside the abbey (see directions & map below). Please wear sensible footwear.

We can also take in the stunning Colclough Walled garden. They have home grown produce available for a small donation. €5 entrance fee but several member have the annual pass which admits 6 adults. More information on Tintern woods here https://www.coillte.ie/site/tintern-abbey/

Walking is not only a great way to stay fit, but also a fantastic way to socialise & engage in conversations with like-minded individuals who share a passion for outdoor activities. This event is designed to be inclusive, ensuring that new & existing members feel welcome & comfortable. So lace up your walking shoes & join us for a refreshing morning surrounded by nature. We will arrange where to go for post-walk refreshments on the day.
