Genesee Yacht Club annual Memorial Day Observance, Boat Review Parade and Picnic

GYC Commodore Kevin Dudarchik Invites You to Join our members for our 2025 Annual GYC MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE and SUMMER KICK OFF BOAT REVIEW PARADE AND CELEBRATION !!!

MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY
11:30 AM - Gather at the GYC Flag Pole for a traditional Memorial Day Observance and Recognition of those that have sacrificed their all for our nation.

BOAT PARADE and FLEET REVIEW
12:30 PM - Boats are to gather at the North end of the piers and follow in line 3 boat lengths apart starting with this years' Rear Commodore Kevin Riley, beginning at 1:00 PM and proceed in formation to the lift bridge and turn back down the river to pass for the Commodore and Bridge Officers Review and Cannon Salute at the GYC club docks.
(Remember this is NOT a race!!)
NEW SAILORS Please Reach Out to Our Skippers for a ride in the Parade (Please bring own Life Jackets).

PICNIC
2:30 PM $5.00 Hot Dogs & Burgers cooked and served on the porch (just like race nights).
BRING A SIDE DISH TO PASS, any serving utensils needed and be prepared to take home leftovers.
Note: The kitchen and refrigerator will NOT be available and EVERYTHING will be disposable!
GYC membership is providing dessert along with water and ice tea.
