Headliner bio:

Josephine Lacey (UK) - Josephine first came onto the London comedy circuit in October 2008. Drawing on her Jamaican-Irish heritage and life experiences, she delivers her material with an honest humour and a natural raw energy with the guile and wisdom of someone that’s been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, delivering her material with an effortless charm and huge smile that leaves audiences loving her and wanting more. She regularly performs headline spots all across England and Ireland. She is one of the resident MCs at the famous Top Secret Comedy Club in London. 2024 saw Josephine selling out her debut solo show “Autism Mama” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, then at the fabulous Soho Theatre, London, gaining rave 5 STAR reviews at both venues.

The club's history and motto:
Established all the way back in March of 2010 when we started doing shows at The Dubliner on Amagertorv, Copenhagen English Comedy Nights now calls the lovely Knock Knock Comedy Club its home. The shows are all about enjoying great stand-up comedy in English in a lovely setting great for meeting expats and internationally-minded social Danish natives! Who knows what'll happen! Each show has a fun mix of a pro headline comedian with support acts made up of stars of tomorrow, rookies & stars of yesterday :) + an MC host guiding you through the evening from Canada, USA, Ireland or the UK!
