Music Creator Mental Health Support Group: Seen But Not Signed
Details
Every creator carries more than they let on.
This event will be Virtual Only. Due to protective measures, we've moved these meetups into our HOME community app. Once you click through to join us, you'll be asked to create your FREE Account in the HOME App to join the meetup.
Making music independently is one of the lonelier things a person can do. The self-doubt, the financial pressure, the gap between what you're creating and what's landing. Most creators carry all of it alone because there's nowhere else to put it.
This is that place.
Every month, music creators gather virtually to talk honestly about what the work actually costs: the 2am moments when the session didn't go the way you needed it to and you're not sure what you're doing this for anymore.
You don't have to share anything. Listening counts just as much as talking.
Hosted by — a singer, songwriter, and producer who moved to Nashville alone from rural Canada and spent years finding her footing in a city where she knew no one for thousands of miles. She understands this conversation from the inside.
All participants agree to a confidentiality statement. What's shared here stays here.
This session is offered free to the public thanks to the Hot Topic Foundation, HOME – Helping Our Music Evolve and the Helping Music Foundation. If you're able, consider making a donation to help keep these gatherings available to the creators who rely on them.
