New to Oslo – Social Meetup

The largest weekly meetup for everyone "New to Oslo", free and open for all - organized by the 28.000 member strong community "New to Oslo"! Lots of International Attendees, Regulars, and Norwegians to help you out and connect to. We talk English and Norwegian!

(we have too many events / changes to keep both Meetup and Facebook updated, so we decided to focus on Facebook since our community is most active there, too.)

Someone told us that the link does not work for people without a Facebook account right now – which it did before, all boxes for visibility are checked. Sorry for that. If you are one of those people please write a message and we send you the address, or read until the end.

We are always a big crowd, 65+ people on average. Ask at the entrance / bar for the "New to Oslo" event, and / or talk to the host (usually red polo shirt and shoes). We get discounts, just ask us for details! :-)

DON'T LIKE FACEBOOK? We feel you. facebook is is currently still the best tool to run a community like this, it has the lowest barrier of entry. As soon as there is a better way, we will move there.
Think about making a dummy / empty account if you have to, it's still worth it. Write a message here with your account name to be able to join the community – as everyone joining the group is checked first to avoid spam – and we will manually add you.
