Overview
Over the 50 years of the CICS product lifetime, there have been many enhancements introduced, keeping CICS and its applications in sync with trends and directions in the wider IT ecosystem. Along the way, “best practice” recommendations have evolved addressing key IT practices such as high availability, security, and interconnectivity.
In this session, Eric Higgins, CICS Specialist in IBM’s Washington Systems Center, will cover current recommendations for running your CICS systems while continuing to support, enhance, and extend customer investment in existing applications.
