Just 6 or so miles from Walton, this is a place that most of you will have heard of but not yet seen. It is flat and the river can be beautiful and there are lots of trees and open land to be seen as we venture through two parks. It is about 5 miles long and circular.

The General Roy has a large beer garden and it does get noisy inside so great \t this time of year if it is not raining. It does not always do a Sunday roast but if it does it is around £11. Fish and chips is £9 and an enormous mixed grill is £15.
