I have said 3 hours for the meeting but if you do not join us for the meal, 2-2.25 hours is the time required. You can of course take advantage of the shopping in Staines if you would prefer not to eat
As always, if the sun is out, it will make this lovely walk a beautiful walk as we go through a slightly wilderness area and several lakes. It is nice and flat and there may be a few animals as well to see. With 80% or so of the walk done, having gone through Staines town centre with some interesting statues and buildings, we will reach the Thames and Spicy Tadka beckons for anyone who wants to indulge in an Indian buffet for £11.99. I will certainly be eating but some of you may prefer to return to the car so please follow the instructions below.
INSTRUCTIONS BACK TO CAR FROM SPICY TADKA (approx 15 minutes)
With the river on your left follow the path to a road. turn left and almost immediately turn left into Lammas Park. Continue along the river until you pass the kiosk on your right and turn right to reach the main road. Cross the road and go through a gate and turn right. Bear right when you meet a path and go between two lakes. At the t junction turn right and shortly after turn left through a gate and go under a bridge. Go through a gate and head towards the houses and bear left as you reach them. Very soon there is a kissing gate on your right. Go through there and make your way back to the road. Turn left to find your car.
NO DOGS PLEASE
You can call me on 07395 004461 if you are late or lost but don't leave it to the last minute. It is also very easy to catch up, even if you are 10 minutes late.
See some of you there I hope.
Mike
