WE MEET BY THE CRICKETERS PUB IN HORSELL WHICH IS PICTURED ABOVE.

The postcode to use is GU21 4XB. However, it would be nice for us to park in Kestrel Way which is off the same roundabout as Horsell Birch and is the road to an industrial estate. It is not busy on a Sunday, has loads of space and there is a path from there to the pub. The pub's car park may not be available.

I really like this walk and checking records it seems I have not led this one for a while although my brain says otherwise. Unfortunately it floods if there is lots of rain, but it is so beautiful in the sunshine, I have to try it again and introduce you to this area.

This 5.5 mile walk starts at an award winning pub on Horsell Common called the Cricketers and we soon cross common land, pass nice houses, go through lovely fields and follow the river Bourne and eventually onto Horsell common and back to the pub. If the sun shines, with the rivers we follow, it will be absolutely fabulous. Flat with only a couple of stiles. It should be dry, unless lots of downpours occur and if you have liked my walks in the past you will love this one I am sure.

It is less than 5 miles from junction 12 of the M25

If you get lost, you can call me on 07395 004461.

NO DOGS and £4 please as normal.
