This is a free car park but it can get busy although the turnover is very quick. So please try and arrive 10 minutes early so you can get parked easily. Toilets are here at the start.

Last done in 2022, here is another opportunity to have a lovely walk through parts of Shepperton many of you will not know and a nice walk along the Thames.
In2021, volunteers started a small ferry crossing from Walton on Thames to Sunbury and back at a cost of £2 each way. It proved popular and now I will give you the opportunity to see it and also both sides of the Thames. More details are available on the link below.

This will be a 6 mile circular walk with a stop mid way at Sunbury Walled Garden. Some will be familiar if you have walked with me in this area before. It will be new I can guarantee unless you know the local area well.
We will cross Walton bridge and soon most of you will see parts of Shepperton that you were not aware of, a marina then through a farmers field, past a rugby ground and fields into Sunbury Park where we take a circuit of that and we will take a break for a 30 minute stop in the walled garden where you can admire the flowers, get a tea or coffee, or even look at the embroidery exhibition. Then we take the ferry and walk back alongside the Thames to rejoin the cars.
NO DOGS PLEASE
If you are late or lost, you can call me on 07395 004461 and it is easy to catch up.
* The £10 scheme allows you to attend any walk led by me (when others lead it will be £4) between January 2025 and 30th June 2025. This will be about 20 walks for £10.
